Accountabilities:

    The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, coordinating field activities, and ensuring the efficiency and quality of operational processes.

    • Receive and manage new service requests from clients, ensuring proper prioritization and compliance with established deadlines.
    • Monitor the progress of field activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and operational procedures.
    • Coordinate the distribution of assignments among auditors and field teams, considering location, timelines, and operational priorities.
    • Collaborate with internal operational teams to validate materials, documentation, and information provided to clients.
    • Supervise and support teams operating across different regions, ensuring process standardization and service consistency.
    • Identify training and development needs within the team and support capability-building initiatives.
    • Monitor operational performance indicators and proactively address challenges or inefficiencies.
    • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven work environment.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have experience in agricultural operations and team leadership, combined with strong organizational and communication skills.

      • Technical degree, technologist qualification, or university degree in Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, or a related field.
      • Previous experience in leadership or supervisory positions.
      • Valid Category B driver's license, issued for a minimum of two years.
      • Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      • Experience coordinating field operations and geographically distributed teams is highly desirable.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
      • Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions in dynamic environments.
      • Proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality results.
      • Knowledge of agribusiness processes, inspections, auditing activities, or field operations will be considered an advantage.
