As a Skiptown Groomer, you’ll be trusted with the complete grooming experience, from intake to finish. You’ll be a client-facing artist and technician, delivering high-quality grooms, guiding pup parents through style and care decisions, and mentoring teammates to help the whole team thrive. What You’ll Do:
Perform full-service grooming appointments including haircuts, baths, blowouts, trims, and breed-specific stylesConsult with pup parents to understand their preferences and communicate grooming plans clearlyManage your daily schedule with professionalism and efficiencyMaintain a clean, organized grooming workspace that reflects Skiptown’s high standardsFollow grooming safety protocols including proper restraint, tool use, and behavioral handlingCommunicate any health or behavioral concerns to the pup parent or pup Services ManagerSupport the broader team by mentoring Grooming Assistants and ApprenticesParticipate in training, feedback sessions, and quality checks to grow your skillsSanitize grooming tools and equipment thoroughly between appointments

Musts & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move for 8–10 hours per shiftComfortable lifting and handling dogs up to 50 lbsComfortable working in wet, loud, high-energy environmentsWillingness to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
