Accountabilities:

    As the Coordinator of Purchasing, Facilities, and Logistics, you will be responsible for leading the team, improving operational processes, and ensuring the efficiency and scalability of essential business functions. You will act as a people-focused leader who develops talent while driving operational excellence and fostering a culture based on autonomy, trust, and collaboration.

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 professionals, establishing individual development plans, feedback routines, and engagement practices.
    • Manage and oversee purchasing, facilities, and logistics operations, ensuring service quality and operational effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, increase efficiency, and create scalable solutions to support business growth.
    • Structure and optimize workflows to prepare the area for increased demand, including potential international operations.
    • Promote a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environment based on delegation, ownership, and trust.
    • Encourage team autonomy while maintaining alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
    • Partner with other departments to strengthen relationships and improve cross-functional collaboration.
    • Act as a change agent, helping elevate the technical and behavioral maturity of the function.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has solid leadership experience, strong operational knowledge, and the ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution. You should be comfortable working in dynamic environments where building processes, developing people, and adapting to change are essential.

      • Proven experience managing teams, preferably with experience leading groups of 10 or more professionals.
      • Previous experience in purchasing, facilities, and logistics operations.
      • Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to combine hands-on execution with strategic planning.
      • Experience developing teams through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
      • Excellent communication skills, active listening, emotional intelligence, and ability to build strong relationships.
      • Ability to delegate effectively and promote autonomy within teams.
      • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments such as startups or scaling companies is highly desirable.
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
