AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client in the residential construction industry. This role is focused on managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, documentation, and field execution across active residential projects. The position is ideal for a hands-on PM who understands residential construction workflows, client expectations, jobsite coordination, and the importance of keeping projects moving with accountability.
Responsibilities
Oversee residential construction projects across California from preconstruction planning through final closeout
Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, subcontractor timelines, and milestone tracking for active residential work
Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Review drawings, specifications, proposals, change orders, selections, and project documentation for accuracy and execution readiness
Track project costs, approve invoices, manage change orders, and identify budget risks before they impact profitability
Lead regular project updates with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and leadership to resolve issues and maintain accountability
Monitor quality, safety, schedule, permitting, and inspection requirements across assigned residential job sites
Support procurement, material coordination, and vendor communication to prevent delays and keep projects moving
Maintain clear project records, status updates, punch lists, and closeout documentation for each assigned project

Experience managing residential construction projects in California or similar regulated construction markets
Strong understanding of residential construction schedules, budgets, subcontractor scopes, drawings, specifications, permitting, inspections, and closeout requirements
