As a Fraud Treasury Analyst in the Fraud Treasury Operations team, you will ensure the daily execution and settlement of business activities in line with JPMC policies and procedures. You will manage and reconcile suspense accounts, oversee APPRR and reimbursement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve transaction posting errors and breaks. Your role will be essential in maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and delivering accurate reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review daily reconciliations, analyze reconciling items, and investigate fraud records to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and timely processing of refunds to restore customers’ financial positions.
• Verify accurate booking of fees and charges, ensuring all accounting entries comply with business standards.
• Prepare and deliver periodic and ad-hoc reports for senior management.
• Investigate and reconcile suspense accounts daily.
• Fulfil payments to third parties as needed.
• Respond to audit queries by providing comprehensive audit trails and supporting documentation.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, including Product and Treasury teams.
• Collaborate with Finance, Fraud Product, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve transaction issues.
• Maintain a control-focused mindset and challenge the status quo to improve processes.
• Support APPRR and reimbursement processes in collaboration with ICB teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Relevant experience in fraud operations, back office, middle office, or similar banking/financial services functions.
• Experience in fraud, reconciliations, payments, or treasury operations, including process controls and problem solving.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Ability to develop knowledge of diverse products and new offerings.
• Ability to work under time pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Strong analytical skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Effective team player with the ability to partner and influence across business and support groups.
• Control-focused mindset with a commitment to process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
• Experience supporting audit processes and responding to audit queries.
• Knowledge of banking platforms, reconciliation tools, payments, and systems; familiarity with iRecs preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in reconciliation and reporting tools.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, with the ability to challenge and improve operational processes.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in payments and treasury operations.
• Familiarity with APPRR and reimbursement processes.
