Accountabilities:

    As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across frontend and full-stack systems, shaping architecture, engineering practices, and product capabilities. You will work across teams to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and execution while mentoring engineers and influencing long-term technical strategy.

    • Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing frontend systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future scalability needs.
    • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives focused on system architecture, design systems, rendering strategies, and foundational UI capabilities.
    • Drive frontend engineering excellence by establishing best practices for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and user experience quality.
    • Develop and promote scalable frameworks, patterns, and infrastructure that improve engineering efficiency and delivery velocity.
    • Serve as a technical authority for frontend architecture decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable, observable, testable, and resilient.
    • Partner with engineering and product leadership to influence product direction and ensure technical strategies support business goals.
    • Translate customer needs, product requirements, and user feedback into scalable technical solutions that improve digital experiences.
    • Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, fostering engineering excellence, continuous learning, and strong technical standards.
    • Lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution, removing blockers, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery.
    • Identify systemic risks and drive investments in reliability, observability, migrations, and long-term platform sustainability.
    • Support product discovery by evaluating technical feasibility, prototyping solutions, and validating new ideas through experimentation.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering leader with deep frontend expertise, strong architectural experience, and the ability to influence technical decisions across an organization. You should be comfortable balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term scalability, quality, and customer impact.

      • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership at an organizational level.
      • Extensive experience with modern frontend technologies and frameworks such as React, Next.js, and GraphQL.
      • Proven ability to build and scale high-performance web applications and customer-facing digital experiences.
      • Strong full-stack development capabilities, including backend experience with technologies such as Node.js and Python.
      • Deep understanding of UI performance optimization, accessibility standards, responsive design, and frontend best practices.
      • Experience creating and scaling shared frontend infrastructure, component libraries, or design systems across multiple teams.
      • Track record of driving architectural alignment, engineering improvements, and developer productivity initiatives.
      • Ability to translate business and customer requirements into reliable, maintainable, and impactful technical solutions.
      • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and creating clarity to help teams execute effectively.
      • Strong mentorship abilities with experience developing senior engineering talent and promoting a culture of feedback and growth.
