About the Position

The Network Training Coordinator is responsible for training employees on processes and procedures necessary to perform assigned jobs within the distribution center. This role also provides administrative support across multiple sites by coordinating and tracking operations training to ensure network compliance. 

Functions

  • Gains cooperation and influences compliance with training requirements at multiple levels across the Network 
  • Supports and maintains meticulous training records for Compliance and Safety needs  
  • Supports all ISO and customer driven audits, ensuring Network success via accurate training record verification  
  • Interprets existing and emerging SOPs to identify proper training alignment for applicable associates 
  • Prepares and administers training matrices for new associates 
  • Schedules and facilitates new hire group training, including review of position-specific CP and SOP processes 
  • Maintains and updates training logs and cross-training documents  
  • Assists management with the creation and revision of site-specific as well as Network training materials 
  • Communicates all mandatory training to the Network to ensure compliance 
  • Facilitates on-the-job warehouse operations training for new, existing, and inexperienced associates 
  • Provides training on the safe use of equipment and powered industrial equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, and inventory systems  
  • Educates associates on general and position-specific safety procedures  
  • Creates and distributes weekly & monthly training status reports to track training completion 
  • Performs other administrative and/or training duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience is defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested. 
  • MS Office Skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as data entry and typing ability 
  • Minimum 6 months related experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization 
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety

Travel Requirements

  • This position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.
