Scientist II - GCMS Lab

NSF is looking to add experienced Chemistry Scientists II, to our GCMS Group. Persons with good lab skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm. Shift Premium offered 

• Perform analytical laboratory procedures following defined processes and standard operating procedures.
• Perform basic instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow quality and documentation requirements for all laboratory work.
• Follow all safety and ethics requirements.

• BS/BA in a directly related science field or an equivalent combination of experience and coursework. 
• 1 to 5 years of related experience in an analytical testing laboratory.  
• Knowledge of standard lab procedures and instrumentation, preferably GCMS. 
• Able to work well in a production team environment with strong organizational skills.
• Consistent attention to detail and verbal/written communication skills.
• Computer skills with laboratory LIMS and instrumentation software.
