Home Sourcing Manager - Plasticisers and Polymer compounds 7-10 Bangalore Full-Time Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic SourcingLead sourcing activities for plasticisers and polymer compounds across domestic and international markets. Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified manufacturers and suppliers based on quality, capability, cost, and compliance. Develop a diversified supplier base to ensure uninterrupted supply and competitive pricing. Monitor market trends, raw material pricing, and emerging technologies to support sourcing decisions. Manufacturing Partnership DevelopmentBuild and strengthen strategic manufacturing partnerships with contract manufacturers and production partners in India and globally. Identify manufacturing capabilities that align with business expansion and product portfolio requirements. Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, supply terms, confidentiality agreements, and long-term partnership contracts. Manage partner relationships to ensure operational excellence, scalability, and business continuity. Commercial & Business DevelopmentCollaborate with Business Development, R&D, and Operations teams to identify new manufacturing opportunities. Evaluate potential manufacturing partners through technical, commercial, and operational assessments. Drive strategic initiatives to improve supply chain resilience, cost optimization, and manufacturing efficiency. Support new product commercialization through partner identification and manufacturing readiness. Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance. Coordinate with international stakeholders and suppliers to manage project timelines and commercial discussions. Present sourcing strategies, partnership opportunities, and market insights to leadership. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred. Experience7-10  years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, business development, or manufacturing partnerships within the chemical, polymer, plastics, or specialty chemicals industry. Proven experience in sourcing plasticisers, polymer compounds, additives, or related chemical products. Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers is highly desirable.
