Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites for regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Leverage Agentic AI technologies to generate, execute, analyze, and optimize test cases while improving defect detection and testing efficiency.
- Develop AI-assisted testing strategies that increase coverage, accelerate testing cycles, and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Perform manual regression and functional testing for product features, web applications, reporting solutions, and integrations where automation is not yet available.
- Conduct installation, upgrade, and validation testing across supported environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during planning, design discussions, and development processes to ensure quality and testability are incorporated from the beginning.
- Analyze product requirements and business needs to create comprehensive test scenarios, acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases.
- Maintain and improve automation assets, testing documentation, and quality metrics.
- Execute test cases, document results, communicate risks, and provide clear testing status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, report, and track defects while partnering with development teams to support timely issue resolution.
- Evaluate and improve test coverage, automation effectiveness, and overall QA processes.
- Champion best practices in quality assurance, test automation, and AI-driven testing approaches.
- Influence the evolution of testing strategies with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and continuous innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, Playwright, or similar technologies.
- Experience testing APIs, including SOAP, REST, GraphQL, and related services.
- Experience working with source control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Experience working with relational databases, including SQL, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or comparable solutions to support testing workflows and automation development.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Ability to write effective test cases, test scripts, and automation solutions.
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and apply innovative approaches to software testing.
