We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesReview and improve mechanical design releases for manufacturability, including tolerances, GD&T, materials, and assembly requirementsEnsure manufacturing documentation packages are complete, accurate, and production-readyAct as the technical interface with suppliers, managing manufacturing execution, quality, and documentationTrack prototype builds, schedules, and priorities to ensure on-time delivery across multiple projectsLead nonconformance handling, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actionsVerify incoming prototypes and coordinate rework, fixes, and rebuilds as neededMaintain accurate part data in PLM and ERP systems, including BOMs, revisions, and traceabilityContribute to process improvements, supplier onboarding, and development of prototyping capabilitiesWhat we’re looking forMust haves:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalentExperience in mechanical parts manufacturing in aerospace or other high-reliability industriesPractical knowledge of MCAD and CAM toolsUnderstanding of manufacturing techniques, standards, and testing methods for mechanical componentsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentationExperience working with external suppliers and managing technical interfacesStrong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills in English and ability to work in cross-functional teamsNice to haves:Experience with PLM or ERP systems for configuration and lifecycle managementExperience supporting prototype builds and NPI processesExperience in satellite or space hardware manufacturing environmentsApplication ProcessRecruiter InterviewHiring Manager InterviewTechnical AssignmentStakeholder InterviewDirector InterviewWorking at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
