Accountabilities:

    As Director, Sales Engineering, you will lead a high-performing technical organization focused on supporting enterprise customers and accelerating business growth. You will provide strategic direction, ensure technical excellence, and build strong alignment between customer needs, sales objectives, and technology solutions.

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Enterprise Systems Engineers supporting strategic enterprise accounts.
    • Establish technical sales strategies that align customer objectives with business goals and go-to-market priorities.
    • Partner closely with sales teams, specialists, alliances, product, engineering, and marketing stakeholders to drive successful customer engagements.
    • Guide technical execution across areas including data resilience, cyber recovery, cloud adoption, security, and AI-driven initiatives.
    • Represent the organization in executive-level customer, partner, and internal discussions.
    • Drive operational excellence through consistent processes, scalable engagement models, and performance improvements.
    • Influence product strategy by sharing customer insights, market trends, and technical requirements.
    • Support the development of repeatable technical approaches that strengthen enterprise sales outcomes.
    • Requirements:

      You are an experienced technology leader with a strong background in enterprise solutions, pre-sales engineering, and team leadership. You combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and have a proven ability to influence complex organizations, build trusted relationships, and deliver measurable business impact.

      • 15+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, enterprise technology leadership, or related roles.
      • 8+ years of experience managing managers or senior technical professionals in customer-facing environments.
      • Proven track record influencing outcomes within complex enterprise accounts and highly matrixed organizations.
      • Strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure, data platforms, security, cyber resilience, and cloud architectures.
      • Excellent executive communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Experience leading large-scale enterprise technical sales organizations is highly valued.
      • Strong understanding of AI readiness, data governance, compliance requirements, and risk management challenges.
      • Knowledge of data security, privacy frameworks, and modern security practices.
      • Experience creating scalable go-to-market strategies and technical engagement models.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, product, and business teams.
      • Must be located within the Central or Eastern Time Zone.
