Job Summary and Responsibilities
As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will serve as a technology visionary, responsible for supporting groundbreaking neuroscience-based clinical practice and research, by enabling advanced technological platforms. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role, where you will design and lead the architectural strategy for mission-critical initiatives and advanced neuro-technology capabilities, directly serving Barrow Neurological Institute's world-renowned clinicians, researchers, and educators. You will bridge software engineering excellence with a robust enterprise architecture discipline, to accelerate the modernization of Barrow's unique and complex technological ecosystem. Every day, you will be responsible for specific application, database, network, infrastructure, and/or engineering portfolios/platforms, and will support high-performance computing architecture. This involves driving successful solution adoption from technology planning, investment decisions, implementation, to ongoing operational support for medium complexity portfolios. You will actively identify and accelerate the elimination of non-strategic technology platforms, optimizing our landscape. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong combination of business, technical, and leadership skills, with extensive experience in solution architecture and technology strategy. You will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of application, infrastructure, and network technologies. This encompasses highly specialized requirements for: Clinicians: Developing intuitive tools for enhanced patient care delivery, clinical decision support, secure data access, and streamlined workflows.Researchers: Architecting advanced platforms for high-compute environments, complex data analysis, AI/ML model deployment, and collaboration that accelerate discovery.Educators: Designing innovative solutions for simulation, virtual learning, curriculum delivery, and knowledgesharing that elevate neuro-education.
