Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites to support reliable software delivery.
    • Create comprehensive test strategies, plans, and quality approaches for complex enterprise applications.
    • Execute different testing activities, including unit, component, integration, system, end-to-end, regression, performance, and security testing.
    • Apply modern testing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), and risk-based testing approaches.
    • Support CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing practices throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Prepare and maintain test data, documentation, and quality-related artefacts.
    • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers through agile practices, code discussions, and collaborative development approaches.
    • Identify, investigate, and support the resolution of software defects and quality issues.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing testing standards, automation practices, and engineering processes.
    • Support knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members when needed.
    • Ensure software solutions meet established quality, security, and delivery standards.
    • Requirements

      • Strong professional experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or similar role.
      • Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
      • Experience working within Agile software development teams.
      • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the complete software testing lifecycle.
      • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
      • Solid understanding of both functional and non-functional testing approaches.
      • Experience using Git and GitLab.
      • Familiarity with enterprise-scale software systems and complex application environments.
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a detail-oriented, quality-focused mindset.
      • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
      • Nice-to-have skills:

        • Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or JUnit.
        • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Gatling, or OWASP ZAP.
        • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS environments.
        • Experience with accessibility testing standards such as WCAG.
        • Background in performance testing, security testing, or software reliability practices.
        • Experience mentoring engineers or sharing technical knowledge.
        • Relevant degree, certifications, or professional training.
        • Existing or eligibility for security clearance processes.
