As a Sr IT Project Mgmt Specialist at Honeywell, you will lead and manage complex IT projects and programs that align with business objectives and deliver measurable value through disciplined execution, stakeholder collaboration, risk management, and operational excellence. 

Accolade is 3rd party tool used for NPI, VE CE, GISC and IT Process execution and tracking supporting various functions across the Organization. This role will support strategic digital IT initiatives in NPIGDM (New Product Introduction Global Data Management) process, VE GDM process (Value Engineering) and Accolade platforms, with responsibility for cross-functional deployments, program governance, system stability, deployment readiness, and business stakeholder alignment. The role will also contribute to successful delivery of Honeywell corporate-function initiatives by improving operational efficiency, strengthening data integrity, and supporting enterprise-scale transformation programs. 

The ideal candidate will bring strong project/program management capability, senior stakeholder management skills, excellent communication, and practical experience delivering enterprise IT solutions across business, IT, vendor, Dev & Testing team, ERP, Data Warehouse & analytics, and data-platform teams. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Governance & Planning

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and strategic programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to quality, budget, timeline, and scope expectations. 
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of NPI GDM and VE GDM initiatives, including Toll Gate process readiness, cutover planning, and hypercare activities. 
  • Drive recurring governance forums such as TAM and Team MOS to align stakeholders, monitor progress, manage dependencies, and track delivery health. 
  • Establish clear project scope, objectives, deliverables, risks, issues, resource needs, and governance cadence in partnership with business and IT stakeholders. 

2. Execution & Delivery

  • Manage deployment planning, defect resolution, resource allocation, and readiness activities for large-scale go-lives across enterprise applications and data platforms.  
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery and minimize disruption to business operations. 
  • Support AOP readiness by enabling timely deployment of tracks and supporting system stability by team through following strong MOS.
  • Ensure projects and programs are delivered with clear milestones, measurable outcomes, effective resource utilization, and strong cross-functional coordination. 

3. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business, and vendor teams for GDM and Accolade-related programs. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across corporate functions to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria. 
  • Draft and deliver executive communications, including go-live announcements, process-change notifications, training plans, and program updates. 
  • Coordinate with Dev, Testing, EDW, ERP, analytics, and related technology teams to enable seamless integration, data flow, reporting accuracy, and delivery alignment across systems. 

4. Operational Excellence & Stability

  • Monitor system performance and reporting queues to ensure stability during training cycles, AOP seasons, and other business-critical periods. 
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive actions to improve reliability, delivery quality, and business confidence. 
  • Maintain live trackers for defect management, deployment readiness, and issue resolution while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner with EDW and analytics teams to strengthen data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational transparency across program execution.

5. Project Leadership, Risk Management & Collaboration

  • Lead complex IT project delivery in a corporate environment, applying project management methodologies, tools, collaboration platforms, and structured execution practices. 
  • Optimize resources, manage priorities, and drive execution across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills while supporting enterprise-scale IT delivery and cross-functional program outcomes. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project/program management, preferably with enterprise applications, corporate IT functions, and data platforms. 
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional IT deployments, stakeholder communications, and project execution in a corporate environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, project management tools, collaboration tools, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication practices specific to IT project delivery. 
  • Working knowledge of enterprise platforms and systems such as Accolade, GDM, SAP, and EDW. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, solve complex problems, and communicate clearly with business and technology stakeholders. 

 

Must-Have Skills

  • Project / Program Management — ability to lead planning, execution, governance, delivery tracking, risk management, and program-level outcomes across enterprise IT initiatives. 
  • Stakeholder Management — ability to collaborate with business, IT, vendor, QA, EDW, SAP, analytics, and corporate-function stakeholders to define scope, align priorities, and drive delivery success. 
  • Strong Communication Skills — ability to create executive communications, go-live announcements, process-change communications, training plans, and clear program updates for varied audiences.

 

Preferred Skills

  • PPM Domain Knowledge – NPI Domain — familiarity with NPI PPM process, and the ability to support delivery tracking, stakeholder alignment, and program governance in the NPI domain. 
  • Accolade Tool Knowledge — understanding of Accolade-related programs, delivery needs, stakeholder coordination, and integration considerations across enterprise systems. 
  • Operational Excellence — experience monitoring stability, driving root cause analysis, implementing preventive actions, maintaining defect trackers, and improving operational performance during critical business cycles. 
  • Enterprise Data & Integration Awareness — familiarity with GDM, SAP, EDW, analytics, data integrity, reporting accuracy, and cross-system data-flow coordination.
