**What you’ll build**
We are looking for a student remotely working for our Kyiv/Ukraine location to support our engineering team with its daily tasks respectively for some special projects.
Precise scope can be decided based on skill profile, experience and interests of candidates.
Please find some potential ideas and examples for such topics:
+ Supporting the security experts to conduct and manage results of code scans
+ Supporting the test engineers to define and automate test cases or to migrate test automations between different tools (potentially supported through AI)
+ Engaging with the development experts, test engineers and team architect to improve our approach for chaos testing and chaos engineering
+ Conducting performance and load tests for specific scenarios
+ Building and improving team specific dashboards to monitor our development processes as well as our services operations
**What you bring:**
+ Should have completed 1 to 3 years of B.E in Computer Science or other discipline with Computer programming experience
+ Should be actively enrolled in the above mentioned course
+ Core Java and basic knowledge on object oriented programming
+ Knowledge on Java EE, Spring, HTML5 is highly preferred
+ Willingness to learn and contribute
+ Be prepared to be challenged in a real software development environment
The following additional skills and experiences are nice to have:
+ An interest in security topics to support our team with re-occuring tasks
+ Experience around chaos testing/engineering or with performance/load tests
+ Skills related to test automation tools like Playwright or Tosca
+ Knowledge about DORA metrics or SRE principles
**Where you belong:**
Our engineering team is a hybrid team, located in Kyiv/Ukraine and Walldorf/Germany. We are applying scrum and agile principles on a daily basis to build and operate services for a cloud based manufacturing solution.
Our specific services are primarily covering master data scenarios for this solution, so they are the basis for lots of other services and scenarios. Other teams from our unit contributing to these scenarios are located in Bangalore/India, Shanghai/China as well as Waterloo/Canada.
