Regulatory Compliance Associate (Mandarin Speaker) | Fresh Graduates Welcome
About the Role
Kick-start your career in Regulatory Compliance with Accenture. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about investigations, problem-solving, and protecting businesses from financial crime and fraudulent activities.
As a Regulatory Compliance Associate, you will review and investigate transactions and customer activities from Mandarin-speaking markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and analytical thinking are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor cases generated by the system from Mandarin markets and conduct appropriate reviews to facilitate the closure of cases or further investigation/reporting according to the client's internal compliance policy
Analyzing complex transactions and conducting holistic reviews and searches, gathering data and recording evidence to detect any fraud/ suspicious transaction
Accumulating facts from investigations and reporting unusual client activities
Operating within agreed business SLAs and confidentiality standards
Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure clients comply with policies
Perform background checks on the client to make sure the client is not involved in fraudulent activities
Assume responsibility for other relevant tasks as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in Compliance, AML, KYC, Financial Crime, Fraud Investigation, Risk Operations, e-Commerce, Banking, Consulting, or BPO environments are welcome.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required as this role involves regular communication and review of documentation, transactions, and customer information from Mandarin-speaking markets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within defined timelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Sanctions Screening, Fraud Prevention, or Financial Crime Compliance.
Knowledge of regulatory risks, fraud typologies, or compliance practices within China or Mandarin-speaking markets.
Experience conducting research, investigations, audits, or data analysis projects during internships, university coursework, or previous employment.
Work Schedule
Candidates should be able to support one of the following shifts:
Standard Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Employment Type
1-Year Renewable Contract. This is a 12-month contract position with potential extension opportunities based on business requirements and performance.
