Accountabilities:

    • Support homeowners and contractors throughout the full lifecycle of energy efficiency projects, from eligibility assessment to final completion.
    • Provide technical guidance on residential energy efficiency upgrades, building systems, and retrofit requirements.
    • Troubleshoot project-related and technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    • Review documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity within program systems.
    • Support QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with program standards and technical requirements.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
    • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and assist in training or mentoring when required.
    • Travel within the assigned service area (Vancouver Island or Kamloops) using a company-provided vehicle.
    • Requirements:

      • 3–5 years of experience as an Energy Advisor or in a related field such as residential construction, building upgrades, or energy retrofit programs.
      • Strong understanding of residential building systems, HVAC systems, and energy efficiency principles.
      • Knowledge of building science and energy retrofit methodologies; familiarity with CSA F280-12 load calculations is a strong asset.
      • Experience working in customer-facing or advisory roles with excellent service orientation.
      • Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets, laptops, and documentation systems for field reporting.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
      • Post-secondary education or equivalent practical industry experience.
      • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.
