Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven QA Automation Lead with 8+ years of demonstrated experience in software quality assurance and test automation, including extensive hands-on expertise with Selenium-based automation frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the automation testing strategy, managing a small QA team, and driving the expansion of automation coverage across enterprise applications. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, hands-on automation expertise, people management, and functional business understanding. The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise platforms, including SAP, and be proficient with tools such as qTest and Azure DevOps. The candidate must be passionate about improving software quality, reducing manual testing effort, and building scalable automation solutions that support Agile and DevOps delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyse business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to create effective test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
- Support UAT/ Production sanity test when required.
- Generate and maintain testing metrics, reports, and quality dashboards.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality practices.
- Go/No-Go Recommendation based on Automation/Manual Regression results
- Ability to maintain automation suite across multiple products
- Involve in Estimations, Planning ,task Allocations and risk-based Prioritization
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, recommend, and rapidly adopt new automation tools, frameworks, and technologies based on project needs and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- 5+ years of hands-on Selenium automation experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Proven experience driving automation adoption and expanding automation coverage across enterprise applications.
- Strong Experience with UI and API automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured or similar frameworks
- Strong knowledge in Java ,JavaScript
- Working knowledge of SQL for Database querying, data analysis and test validation.
- Strong experience in creating and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to have
- Experience leading or managing a small QA team (3-5 team members).
- Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
- E-commerce/billing application background
- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
- Experience working within large enterprise environments.
- Certifications in QA, Agile, or Automation Testing are a plus.

- Build and develop a high-performing QA team capable of supporting enterprise-scale platforms.
- Establish a sustainable automation framework that supports continuous delivery and long-term scalability.
