We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Fiserv Security Administrator & Systems Analyst to join our team in Salt Lake City. In this crucial role, you will act as the principal administrator for our core banking platform's security architecture—managing user access, configuring permissions, and ensuring robust system controls.
Additionally, you will direct the technical parameter configurations of our product and business setup tables, ensuring our deposit accounts, interest rates, general ledger mappings, and service fees are accurately aligned with business goals and regulatory compliance standards.
What you'll do...
Manage Core Security Architecture: Serve as the primary security administrator for the core banking platform (Fiserv DNA) and other deposit systems, configuring role-based permissions, management of system configurations, and security group organizational levels.
Lead System Maintenance & Configuration: Oversee and audit core business tables, global system parameters, fee schedule updates, and interest rate maintenance.
Maintain User Lifecycle Processes: Handle onboarding, offboarding, and regular provisioning of employee user access across all integrated Fiserv applications.
Conduct Audit & Compliance Tasks: Perform routine security access audits, verify Segregation of Duties (SoD), and draft thorough documentation in support of Bank Policies and regulatory expectations (FDIC, Utah DFI).
Verify System Integrations & Upgrades: Partner with product owners, IT, and external vendors (including Fiserv) to test and implement system parameter adjustments, software patches, and table configurations in non-production environments prior to release.
Troubleshoot Technical Configurations: Act as a Tier 2/3 technical escalation point for core access, application settings, and table mapping discrepancies.
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 or more years of experience in system administration, application support, or core IT operations within a financial institution.
- Strong technical understanding of core banking configurations, table maintenance logic, and security permission structures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge technical needs between IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

- Prior experience with the Fiserv DNA core platform, specifically in DNA security configuration, database tables, and parameter maintenance.
- Proven experience working within a de novo banking environment or modern digital banking deposit platform.
- Familiarity with federal and state banking regulations regarding information security, access controls, and data integrity.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900., This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
