Position Overview
We are looking for a senior data scientist to join our team at DIA.
Responsibilities
Work with complex data sets to solve real world problems. Support the warfighter and policy makers with decision making.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R
- 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL
- Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly #qinetiqclearedjob
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 YOE or 12 YOE years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency
- Familiarity with HUMINT
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role is $125,000- $132,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
