As a Disabilities@work Program Manager, you will design and drive our disability and neurodiversity inclusion strategy in the LATAM region, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing programs to establish Salesforce as an Employer of Choice for People with Disabilities. Working within the Office of Accessibility and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our workplace is equitable and accessible to all. Your expertise will drive the development of strategies, training programs, and metrics to measure progress in accessibility and disability and neurodivergence inclusion efforts.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the LATAM disability inclusion roadmap, aligned with Salesforce's global Equality and Accessibility strategy, including regional goals, success metrics, and reporting.
  • Partner with Recruiting to attract, source, and hire talent with disabilities and neurodivergent candidates across the region.
  • Build sustainable talent pipelines through partnerships with NGOs, universities, government agencies, and disability employment organizations.
  • Design and manage inclusive hiring, onboarding, and career development programs, including initiatives such as Autism@Work, to improve employee experience, productivity, and retention.
  • Deliver training and enablement for recruiters, hiring managers, and leaders on disability-inclusive hiring, career development, and retention best practices.
  • Partner with Employee Success, Employee Relations, Workplace Services, and other stakeholders to continuously improve accommodation, return-to-work, and employee support processes.
  • Lead regional physical and digital accessibility initiatives in collaboration with Real Estate, Workplace Services, and Technology teams.
  • Localize and implement global accessibility and disability inclusion programs through culturally relevant communications and engagement strategies.
  • Drive voluntary disability self-identification campaigns to increase awareness, build trust, and promote available workplace support.
  • Partner with Employment Legal and HR Compliance to ensure compliance with disability employment legislation, reporting requirements, and audit readiness across countries in scope, including Brazil, Chile, Peru, and other LATAM markets.
  • Manage the budget and procurement activities for programs and initiatives within scope, including vendor selection, purchase orders, contract management, and financial tracking.
  • Represent Salesforce externally with government agencies, disability organizations, industry forums, and community partners to strengthen the company's disability inclusion strategy and employer brand.
  • Measure program effectiveness through data, insights, employee feedback, and storytelling, using findings to continuously improve programs and communicate business impact.

Role Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of program management experience, preferably in HR, with the ability to implement measurable improvements.
  • Previous experience working in the disability, neurodiversity, accessibility, or related field within a corporate setting.
  • Degree or relevant experience, including extracurricular leadership, volunteer roles, or military service, demonstrating skills needed for the role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of regional disability laws and regulations (Brazil, Chile, Peru, etc.) with the ability to integrate them into program implementation while ensuring compliance.
  • Knowledge / network of third-party organizations related to disability and neurodiversity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to educate and influence diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively.
  • Proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong innovation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using collaboration and AI tools, such as Google Workspace Apps, Google Gemini, Chatgpt, Slack, etc.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Desired Skills

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • CPACC certification is a plus
  • Project management certification is a plus.
  • Proven track record of establishing recruiting and onboarding programs for people with disabilities i.e. Autism@work
  • Lived experience with disability or neurodivergence
