As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. How you create impact

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met while delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor live shipments, provide shipment updates, and manage client reports, KPI reports, QBRs and investigation reports in accordance with client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, Operations, Sales and Business Development to resolve issues, manage escalations and attend client meetings.
  • Support day-to-day customer activities, including customs invoice and shipping approvals, live bookings, collection orders, quotations, pricing requests and shipping queries.
  • Maintain customer information, site lists, Special Instructions (SI's) and contact details in QuickTRACK and Outlook.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve service quality and productivity while monitoring client profitability.
  • Provide out-of-hours customer support and assist the Customer Service and Commercial teams as required by QuickSTAT Management

What we would like you to bring

  • Strong knowledge of Customer Service Specialist (Biopharm) Courier Operations, with a broad understanding of import, export, warehouse and transport operations.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Trial Logistics, including temperature-controlled shipping, packaging, courier operations, client setup and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, decision-making, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
  • Good numerical, financial and computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Relevant industry and customer service experience, with the ability to carry out the responsibilities of the role.
  • GDP training, IATA Dangerous Goods by Air certification and IT/computer literacy qualifications.
