Accountabilities:

    • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure environments across development, staging, and production environments, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
    • Support the deployment, configuration, scaling, and lifecycle management of cloud services with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform environments.
    • Administer Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads, including deployments, scaling, troubleshooting, and operational best practices.
    • Develop and maintain automation tools and infrastructure-as-code frameworks to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
    • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes to streamline software delivery and operational workflows.
    • Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and availability through observability and alerting platforms.
    • Manage access controls, IAM configurations, and infrastructure security practices while supporting compliance and governance requirements.
    • Participate in incident response activities, troubleshooting efforts, root cause analyses, and on-call rotations to ensure service reliability.
    • Support database operations, including backup, recovery, patching, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management for relational database systems.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures to improve support capabilities and knowledge sharing.
    • Requirements

      • 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations roles.
      • Hands-on experience managing production environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
      • Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and containerized application environments.
      • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure operations.
      • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform.
      • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and deployment automation tools, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
      • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing services.
      • Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
      • Working knowledge of IAM, security best practices, vulnerability management, and production incident response processes.
      • Experience supporting MariaDB or similar relational database platforms.
      • Scripting and automation experience using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
      • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and operational excellence methodologies.
      • Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments is considered an advantage.
      • Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
