About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

Rippling has spent the last year building its Employer Brand function from the ground up — establishing foundational programs, cross-functional relationships, and an initial narrative platform. Now we need someone to take it to the next level.

This is a strategic & hands-on role responsible for shaping how Rippling is understood as a place to work. You'll own the Employer Value Proposition, lead a coordinated content and storytelling program across candidate touch points, and serve as the strategic bridge between Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and Communications. Rippling is scaling fast, hiring aggressively across engineering, GTM, and business roles, and EB has a direct line to hiring outcomes.

What you'll own

Recruiting Enablement (Short-Term Wins)

  • Content: Assess the current inventory of available recruitment assets, identify gaps, and lead the creation of new collateral.
  • Recruiter Playbook: Optimize and design the deployment of marketing assets across every function within the recruiting organization.
  • Live Events: Plan and execute technical recruiting events and meetups to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • New Media : Leverage social channels, podcasts to articulate and cement Rippling as a great place to work.

Employer Branding at Scale (Long-Term, Strategic Impact)

  • Champion Rippling’s EVP: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and articulate Rippling’s Employee Value Proposition, tailored to distinct candidate pools across R&D and GTM talent.
  • Create Compelling Content: Produce and share impactful employer brand moments both internally and externally. Cultivate organic engagement and employee pride to foster a consistently positive brand sentiment.
  • Asset Management: Develop and manage a library of videos, blogs, and social media assets that showcase our technical challenges, innovative culture, and unique story.
  • Global Footprint: Build and implement targeted campaigns designed to engage diverse audiences
  • Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Work closely with Rippling leaders to uncover and tell compelling stories that resonate both inside and outside the company.
  • Manage Brand Reputation: Oversee Rippling’s presence on platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Blind, ensuring proactive engagement with reviews and candidate feedback.

What you will need

  • 5+ years of relatable experience in employer/talent branding, copywriting, editorial, or a related role.
  • Exceptional Storyteller: Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with technical and creative audiences.
  • Scrappy and Resourceful: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a knack for finding creative solutions and delivering impactful results, even with limited resources. Capable of using AI to produce compelling content.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of seeing the big picture while executing detailed projects, balancing long-term goals with short-term wins.
  • Relationship Builder: Skilled at building trust and confidence with stakeholders, from executives to team leads, and adept at navigating cross-functional dynamics.
  • Data-Informed Marketer: Uses analytics to measure the impact of campaigns and continuously refine strategies to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Strong Writer: Comfortable producing a variety of content types, from videos, podcasts, and blogs to social media campaigns and recruiter toolkits.
  • Proactive and Autonomous: Takes ownership of projects, drives them to completion, and consistently delivers high-quality results without extensive oversight.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: Can pivot strategies quickly and remain effective under changing priorities and constraints.
