Accountabilities:

    • Support virtual care delivery by preparing and organizing patient intake information, ensuring completeness and accuracy before consultations.
    • Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR), including transferring data, documenting patient histories, and preparing charts for clinical visits.
    • Coordinate scheduling and assist in managing appointments while ensuring video consultation readiness.
    • Collect and document patient clinical information such as medical history, medications, and biometric screenings.
    • Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to support care planning and patient follow-ups.
    • Communicate with patients and internal healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
    • Ensure all documentation and processes comply with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
    • Requirements:

      • High school diploma required; completion of college coursework in a related field preferred.
      • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or telehealth environment.
      • Active Medical Assistant certification required.
      • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems strongly preferred.
      • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general computer literacy.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service mindset.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, virtual care environment.
      • LPN/LVN background or nursing training is considered an asset.
