What You Will Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and minor repairs of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and customer requirements. You will play a critical role in protecting people and property by identifying system deficiencies, documenting findings, and providing exceptional customer service.

How You Will Do It

  • Inspect, test, and maintain Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, and Deluge fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and applicable regulations.
  • Accurately identify, document, and communicate system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Complete inspection reports, service documentation, and compliance records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as required.
  • Interface professionally with customers, facility personnel, management, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Support team initiatives while demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What We Look For

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • NICET Level II Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of field experience inspecting and servicing fire sprinkler systems.
  • Working knowledge of: Wet Pipe Systems, Dry Pipe Systems, Pre-Action Systems and Deluge Systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sprinkler system diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection findings.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening.
  • Ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods.  Climb ladders and stairs.  Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.  Lift and carry up to 40 pounds without assistance.

Preferred

  • Experience with: Fire Pumps, Backflow Prevention Devices and Standpipe Systems
  • Additional NICET certifications or fire protection industry credentials.
  • Experience performing inspections in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities.
  • Familiarity with Department of Health compliance requirements and local fire codes.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23.08 - 31.73 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
