Accountabilities

    • Lead the development and execution of regional business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and long-term growth objectives across the Northeast territory.
    • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing outside sales and business development team, ensuring alignment with performance expectations and customer engagement standards.
    • Drive pipeline growth and revenue expansion by identifying new market opportunities and strengthening relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
    • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, product, and leadership teams to support execution of strategic initiatives.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, KPIs, and forecasting accuracy to senior leadership.
    • Design and implement structured sales processes, compensation plans, and performance frameworks aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
    • Lead customer and internal business reviews to identify growth opportunities, improve forecasting, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
    • Ensure effective resource planning and productivity optimization across people, tools, and systems to maximize commercial performance.
    • Champion a high-performance, customer-centric culture focused on accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
      • 10+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership, including managing teams responsible for significant revenue generation (typically $50M+).
      • Proven track record of driving consistent revenue growth and achieving or exceeding annual growth targets.
      • Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
      • Deep understanding of CRM/ERP systems and sales analytics tools, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
      • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance improvement.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
      • Ability to manage competing priorities, operate under pressure, and deliver results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
      • Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
