Job Summary

The Jack Driver position is responsible for safely operating electric and manual pallet jacks to transport poultry products, ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies throughout the facility. This team member plays a critical role in supporting production flow, inventory movement, and operational efficiency while adhering to Tyson Foods' safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move products and materials throughout the plant.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies to designated production and storage areas.
  • Load, unload, stack, and position pallets as directed.
  • Maintain continuous product flow to support production schedules.
  • Inspect pallet jacks and equipment before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Verify product identification and ensure materials are delivered to the correct locations.
  • Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Comply with Tyson Foods policies, USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory control, product movement, and other production duties as assigned.

Must have 6 months experience within the last 12 months.
