You will be hands-on in the operations of the cross-functional Business Affairs Team and involved in the process of making content from concept through delivery. You'll combine your production and advertising knowledge, experience applying business and financial judgment to production and content deals, creativity and understanding of Meta's platforms and products to contribute to an efficient and innovative Business Affairs Team that operates effectively. **Required Skills:** Business Affairs Manager Responsibilities: 1. Work across one of our pillars of business (Meta, Facebook app, Instagram or Messenger/WhatsApp) managing all Creative X work and involvement with external agency work 2. Advise on all Business Affairs matters for development, production, post production, sales, distribution, and service of all entertainment and business endeavors for Creative X from a legal, financial, entertainment and strategic perspective 3. Work with all cross-functional partners that make up the Business Affairs team: Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Partnerships, Music and Privacy 4. Project manage complex work streams 5. Work with legal team on production legal, litigation, copyright/trademark, music, and rights/clearance matters 6. Analyze deal opportunities and formulate business strategies with respect to various development and production matters 7. Maintain relationships with key agencies, managers and attorneys in the entertainment community 8. Oversee corporate compliance with contractual and legal obligations in regards to Media and Production **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 9. 6+ years of experience in business affairs, entertainment law, or rights and clearances within an advertising agency, production company, brand, or entertainment organization 10. Demonstrated experience leading or supporting marketing campaigns that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, including the ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions to achieve campaign objectives 11. Working knowledge of AI-related legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations, including conducting general AI reviews, applying legal guardrails, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Privacy, Policy) to ensure compliance and responsible AI use 12. Experience with social networking, platform integrations, publishing platforms, broadcast and new media 13. Experience with union requirements, agreements, and negotiations 14. Experience forming relationships with digital creators, publishers, creative agencies, and studio in negotiating strategic transactions 15. Experience in managing complex work streams and working with multiple cross-functional partners 16. Must be eligible to work in the United States **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 17. 8+ years of experience in business affairs, entertainment law, or rights and clearances within an advertising agency, production company, brand, or entertainment organization 18. Familiarity with SAG-AFTRA, AFM, and other relevant guild or union agreements as they apply to advertising and branded content production 19. Experience building or improving rights management systems, contract tracking tools, or clearance workflows at scale 20. Experience supporting business affairs for large-scale global marketing campaigns across digital, social, and broadcast platforms 21. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) 22. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies 23. Background working within a technology company or platform environment on brand or performance marketing creative productions 24.
