Accountabilities:
- Provide technical support for virtual manufacturing and costing simulation software, assisting customers and global partners through web portals, email, and phone.
- Troubleshoot software issues and deliver effective solutions while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop application examples, tutorials, user documentation, training materials, and best practice guides.
- Design and deliver customer-specific technical training sessions and workshops.
- Independently manage and execute customer service and consulting projects.
- Collaborate closely with product development, sales, support, and engineering teams to document issues and contribute valuable product feedback.
- Support continuous product improvement by identifying enhancements related to simulation models, numerical methods, and software implementation.
- Promote industry best practices and help customers optimize manufacturing simulation workflows.
- Maintain thorough documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on production engineering, forming technology, welding, additive manufacturing, Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), or numerical methods.
- Master's degree is highly desirable.
- Up to five years of relevant experience in CAE, manufacturing simulation, or related engineering fields, including internships or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of material behavior and manufacturing processes, particularly metal forming, welding, or additive manufacturing.
- Experience with finite element simulation, especially non-linear analysis, is preferred.
- Familiarity with virtual manufacturing and costing simulation software is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python, MATLAB, C++, Fortran, or similar languages is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
