The Site Security Manager (SSM) keeps the Fort Bragg ID card operation running right — the person the Verifying Officials turn to, the one who owns card stock accountability, and the one who makes the call when something breaks. What You'll Do
- Supervise Verifying Officials on the floor and keep each station manned to established time standards.
- Administer users and roles in Security Online, account for card stock in the Inventory Logistics Portal (ILP), and run and review audit reports.
- Perform document and fingerprint security overrides, install and maintain RAPIDS hardware, and keep the site current in the RAPIDS Site Management Tool.
- Own 100% card stock accountability — receive, verify, secure, reconcile, and return stock by prescribed procedures.
- Serve as the site's subject-matter expert for the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and ID card policy.
Who You Are
- A steady leader who can run a busy floor and still catch the details that matter.
- Fluent in the systems — Security Online, ILP, and RAPIDS — and confident training others on them.
Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of specialized experience performing Common Access Card (CAC) and USID card functions.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret rules, regulations, procedures, and precedents relating to CAC and USID card functions.
- Supervisory experience.
- Favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) by your start date and a CAC.
- Fluent in English.
