Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Technician (MLS, MT, MLT)
Role responsibilities
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for independently performing and monitoring laboratory testing of patient specimens. They confirm, interpret, correlate, and report patient results while recognizing and resolving technical and physiological problems.
Requirements
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a similar field and certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician within six months of hire. Less than 2 years of experience is preferred, and candidates may be asked to work at other sites as needed.
