This role combines deep technical understanding of these domains with strong leadership capabilities for a growing team. You will play a critical role in building software and the teams that power next generation GPU and NPU systems for rendering, GPGPU and Edge AI , optimizing performance across platforms across many verticals. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead GPU software engineering teams for Snapdragon Adreno, spanning Vulkan, OpenCL, SYCL, DirectX 12, research initiatives, and internal developer tools. Lead Embedded software engineering teams for AI data-center inference products, with a focus on core platform software layer, including SoC firmware, peripheral interfaces, bootloaders, hypervisors, and power-management systems.Lead software test teams in the areas of Core platform firmware validation and Secure system test.Lead development of Audio Software teams including Audio DSP/Codec, and embedded software for end-to-end Audio Software pipelines. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and continue growing mid-sized team (50+ engineers). Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, research, and platform teams. Be familiar with Matrix management across many time zones.Be familiar with conducting Annual Reviews and show leadership in guiding expectations for growth across junior and senior engineering staffRequired Qualifications 15+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5–8 years in a leadership role. Experience working in companies which have matrixed organizations spanning multiple geographic regions. Expertise in C/C++ and Python with strong system-level programming experience. Experience in GPU software paradigms such as Vulkan, DX12, OpenCL, SYCL, Experience in Linux Kernel and system software for Cloud Edge and Data Center EnvironmentsExperience in Zephyr or other RTOS for Cloud Edge and Data Center Environments Experience in Open-Source projects such as Linux KernelPreferred Qualifications Experience with GPU Software development /architecture in a Datacenter setting. Experience in GPU compiler software and tools such as MLIR, LLVM, Triton, and Pytorch, Experience with current AI LLM models/architectures. Experience with embedded software flows used to support semiconductor development - BareMetal, RTOS, Linux Kernel, Peripheral interfacingExperience with ARM and RISCV boot flows and ISAsExperience with Audio CODEC/DSP architectures and end to end pipelinesContributions to open-source projects for GPU rendering and or GPGPU use cases for Datacenter. Leadership Profile Hands-on leader who can dive deep technically when needed. Ability to strongly collaborate with leads in other sites/geo’s.
