The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Hair Stylist join the Spa Team!  

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.  

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

As a Hair Stylist, you’re not just professional hair services – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Delight our guests: Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to ensure an exceptional spa experience
• Deliver professional hair services: Perform cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, updos, texture treatments, and other hair services according to spa menu, guest preferences, and established quality and health standards
• Maintain a spotless environment: Ensure workstations, tools, and equipment are consistently clean and sanitized in compliance with regulatory and guest service standards
• Manage supplies and inventory: Monitor inventory of hair care products and tools, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage.
• Stay current on industry trends: Maintain up to date knowledge of hair techniques, tools, and products to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction
• Support daily spa operations: Assist with general spa duties as needed to ensure seamless service
• Maintain required documentation: Accurately complete any required records related to services, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
