The Position
The Opportunity
As the Planning Excellence Lead, you will support, develop, and deploy the long-term product planning and portfolio strategy across our global organization to maximize the value of the product portfolio. Serving as a critical network orchestrator, you will harmonize planning processes and lead strategic initiatives to ensure seamless global supply chain alignment.
Orchestrate Multinode Networks: Recommend global inventory and safety stock levels for the managed portfolio to meet customer service, business continuity, and cost objectives throughout the global distribution network.
Consolidate Demand & Balance Inventory: Consolidate global market demand signals to drive annual long-term planning, balance strategic stock levels, and coordinate production volumes with manufacturing sites.
Drive S&OP & Alignment: Initiate, prepare, execute, and follow up on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to foster cross-functional alignment and joint accountability across the managed portfolio.
Establish Business Partner Networks: Set up and lead a Product Planning Business Partner Network to harmonize planning methodologies and ensure a unified understanding of product strategy across regions.
Serve as Chief of Staff: Act as the Chief of Staff for the Global Product Planning Leadership Forum, driving the annual strategic agenda and fostering collaborative decision-making.
Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive and influence strategic initiatives across Diagnostics Supply Chain to optimize distribution routing, manage bottlenecks, and mitigate potential supply disruptions.
Who you are
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a closely related field.
Professional Experience: 7–10 years of experience in supply chain management within an international logistics environment, with a proven track record in project management and organizational transformation.
Functional Expertise: Sound knowledge of supply chain planning, operations, and materials management, ideally with experience applying Six Sigma methodologies.
Analytical & Technical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data structures, use modern analytical tools for data visualization, and derive actionable insights from raw data.
Strategic & Enterprise Thinker: An integrative personality and enterprise thinker with a proven track record of building bridges across organizations to align people and content.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Outstanding teamwork and communication skills, with experience managing competing interests among diverse stakeholders and presenting complex analyses to senior leadership.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, Indiana is $109,000 -$202,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this link.
