Accountabilities

    In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development and modernization of P&C dwelling products, ensuring alignment with member needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for shaping product strategy, launching new offerings, and optimizing existing solutions based on performance insights and market trends. You will also act as a key connector across business, technology, and compliance teams to ensure successful execution.

    • Lead the design, development, and launch of new dwelling and property insurance products and features
    • Define and evolve product strategy using internal performance data, market intelligence, and member insights
    • Monitor post-launch product performance and drive updates to pricing, rules, and coverage as needed
    • Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions for new product capabilities
    • Translate product value propositions into clear messaging for distribution and sales channels
    • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to ensure regulatory alignment
    • Oversee product lifecycle management within agile development environments and cross-functional teams
    • Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, data analysis, and performance tracking
    • Requirements

      This role requires deep experience in product development within Property & Casualty insurance, particularly in personal lines and dwelling-related products. Strong analytical, strategic, and cross-functional leadership capabilities are essential, along with the ability to operate in complex, regulated environments. Candidates should bring both business acumen and technical fluency in modern product delivery practices.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
      • 8+ years of experience in product development, underwriting, actuarial, marketing, operations, or financial services
      • Strong background in P&C insurance, especially home, renters, condo, or landlord products
      • Experience with product development lifecycle (PDLC) and agile delivery methods
      • Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into product strategy
      • Experience working with compliance and regulatory frameworks in insurance markets
      • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
      • Experience with modernization initiatives and technology platforms is highly preferred
