Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Deputy Director, Workforce Management & Engagement)

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence & Analysis. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the principal advisor and second-in-command to the Director, WM&E, within the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Department of Homeland Security. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Deputy Director, Workforce Management & Engagement), GS-0343-15, your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the principal advisor and deputy to the Director, Workforce Management and Engagement (WM&E) Division, supporting the planning, organization, and direction of WM&E functions and ensuring workforce management activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and align with organizational goals and objectives. Manages and coordinates the l&A and Intelligence Enterprise (IE) Joint Duty Programs, fostering robust developmental opportunities for intelligence professionals across the interagency enterprise. Provides oversight of workforce analytics, organizational staffing allocations, and position management activities to ensure alignment with mission priorities and workforce requirements. Designs and conducts studies and analyses of division functions and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing changes to enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of workforce management programs. Coordinates and prepares responses to Congressional requests and tasks related to human capital, including reports, briefings, and data calls.
