The Senior Director Finance - Ambulatory Pharmacy and 340B is a senior finance leader and a key member of the leadership team within pharmacy finance. Key constituents include the SVP Chief Pharmacy Officer, health system owned retail and specialty pharmacy leadership, and site-based Finance Directors. Success will be dependent on an ability to leverage matrixed resources inside and outside of Finance to drive strong business results.
- Take ownership for all financial aspects of Ambulatory (Retail and Specialty) Pharmacy and performance including month end close, budget, and core FP&A functions.
- Facilitate performance management and strategic finance of Ambulatory Pharmacy program while supportively collaborating with the business owners.
- Lead business development and business planning for service line growth and expansion, leveraging internal and external resources.
- Collaborate with Ambulatory Pharmacy leaders, service line leaders, physicians and others to analyze, model and implement new business opportunities to maximize system financial performance.
- Be a leader in driving income improvements for Ambulatory Pharmacy.
- Lead financial and coordinate operational aspect of Ambulatory Pharmacy planning and forecasting processes.
- Help deploy and monitor Mount Sinai Ambulatory Pharmacy internal controls, including policies, procedures and practices.
- Collaborate with Corporate FP&A, Finance, and Accounting teams on regular basis.
- Effectively develop and manage finance team members’ technical skills and ability to understand system interdependencies, promoting a team approach with other areas of the organization.
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- MBA and or MS in Finance/Analytics
- 6+ years of finance and or financial analytics experience including support of an operations leader
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and positively influence operations leaders
- Ability to synthesize financial and operating data into concise and actionable information for financial and non-financial users
- 3+ years of healthcare finance experience
- Pharmacy Finance and Accounting Experience preferred
