We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesDesign, operate, and evolve core platform components including Kubernetes, ingress, service mesh, and secrets managementBuild and maintain reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform across AWS and on-prem environmentsDefine and implement observability standards, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alertingPartner with product teams to guide platform adoption and enable scalable, platform-aligned architecturesAutomate platform lifecycle processes including provisioning, upgrades, and scalingImprove platform reliability, performance, and security through continuous iterationSupport and mentor engineers on best practices in Kubernetes, networking, identity, and observabilityReduce operational overhead through tooling, automation, and improved platform abstractionsWhat we’re looking forMust haves:5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles operating production systemsStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, networking, and lifecycle managementSolid understanding of AWS fundamentals including networking, IAM, compute, and storageExperience with infrastructure as code using tools such as TerraformPractical experience with observability, including SLOs, metrics, logs, traces, and alertingProficiency in at least one backend language such as Python or GoStrong Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skillsAbility to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively in EnglishNice to haves:Experience with Rancher, Istio, External Secrets, or VaultExperience operating in restricted or air-gapped environmentsExperience with identity systems such as FusionAuth or SSO integrationsExperience in regulated or mission-critical environmentsExperience with hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-prem platformsApplication processRecruiter interviewHiring manager interviewTask AssignmentTechnical interviewFinal interviewWorking at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the...
