Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. - Ensures that the patient is properly introduced to the unit & his/her surroundings within one hour after arrival in unit.
- Completes assessment as reflected in nursing notes & admission history within 8 hours.
- Provides baseline data pertaining to activities of daily living.
- Reflects physiological condition & psychosocial needs of the patient. Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his/her health problem(s) & his/her expectations of the present hospitalization.
- Provides information needed to begin discharge planning.
- Utilizes standards of care to anticipate potential patient care problems.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Registered Nurse: CA RN License
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 90 Days
Preferred
- One year acute care experience
