Accountabilities:
- Own the end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Oversee ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition processes and act as a subject matter expert for complex contracts and revenue implications.
- Define and track key financial and operational KPIs including billing accuracy, DSO, ARR/MRR alignment, and cash conversion metrics.
- Partner with Data and Finance teams to align billing, revenue, and forecasting data for improved cash flow and business visibility.
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable financial systems supporting SaaS models, including subscription, usage-based, and renewal workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration and data integrity across CRM (e.g., Salesforce), billing systems, and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite).
- Lead automation and system enhancement initiatives to improve scalability, reduce manual work, and strengthen financial controls.
- Design and document internal controls, policies, and workflows to support audit readiness and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and RevOps to improve contracting, invoicing, and collections processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue and accounting operations team.
- Support strategic initiatives including product expansion, pricing model evolution, and operational scaling.
- 8–12+ years of experience in revenue operations, accounting operations, or finance operations within SaaS or technology companies.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in SaaS revenue models including subscription billing, ARR/MRR, usage-based pricing, and deferred revenue.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and billing systems such as NetSuite (SuiteBilling), Salesforce, and related financial platforms.
- Proven ability to lead and scale teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex operational data into actionable business insights.
- Experience with system integrations, automation, and financial process optimization.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Finance, RevOps, and commercial teams.
- High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail, urgency, and operational discipline.
- Experience in venture-backed or PE-backed environments and exposure to system implementation or IPO readiness is a plus.
- Must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone (US).
- Competitive compensation package aligned with experience ($120,000–$150,000 base salary range)
