Are you in?Your RoleJoin our SiC Technology R&D team at Infineon for a hands-on bachelor thesis focused on the electrical characterization of the latest generations of SiC power switches. You will perform laboratory measurements on advanced device structures, analyze and visualize the resulting data, and derive meaningful performance comparisons across different power switch embodiments. In the final stage, you will interpret observed differences, identify underlying physical and technological mechanisms, and contribute to a deeper understanding of device behavior and performance trade-offs.Key responsibilities in your new roleTake responsibility: Hands-on electrical characterization of state-of-the-art SiC power devicesKeep the overview: Interpretation of results and identification of underlying mechanismsShape the future: Performance comparison between different device embodiments and test conditionsData is everything: Data processing, analysis, and visualization (e.g., curve extraction, parameter trends)Your ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeedStudy field: Bachelor student in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related fieldSkills: Basic lab experience and programming/data tools (e.g., Python/Matlab/Excel) are a plusInterest: Interest in power semiconductors, device characterization, and data analysisLanguage skills: Fluent in english.
