These experiences are tightly integrated into Fabric to support modern applications and operational decision-making in real time.​ ​​Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) is Microsoft’s real-time, big-data analytics engine that powers telemetry, log, and time-series analytics for products across Microsoft and for Azure customers worldwide. Within the Azure Data product pillar, the Kusto team is hiring a someone to work on Kaibot — our AI-powered assistant that helps engineers and customers troubleshoot issues, learn Kusto Query Language (KQL), and get self-service answers and diagnostics for the Kusto / Azure Data Explorer platform directly inside Microsoft Teams. What makes this team distinctive is its position at the intersection of large-scale data services and applied AI: you will ground large language models in real Kusto telemetry, product documentation, and support knowledge to deliver trustworthy, actionable help at Microsoft scale. As a result, our customers are better served. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain features for Kaibot, our AI-powered assistant for the Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) platform, delivered through Microsoft Teams and related surfaces.  Partner with service engineering, support, and product teams to identify high-value engineer and customer scenarios and turn them into reliable self-service experiences.  Improve the quality, reliability, and safety of AI-generated responses through evaluation, monitoring, and continuous feedback loops.  Contribute to the operational health of the service — telemetry, alerting, and live-site readiness — and help the team continuously improve its engineering practices.  Write clear, well-tested, maintainable code and collaborate through design discussions and code reviews.Qualifications​​Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline, AND 4+ years...
