We’re looking for leaders who will lead transformation on the forefront. This isn't just a supervisory role; it's a critical leadership position where you'll have the power to shape culture, drive performance, and directly impact the quality and efficiency of our operations.
What you'll do...
- Coach and support maintenance team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability objectives through adherence to standardized work practices.
- Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance processes to optimize throughput, minimize downtime, and support cost objectives.
- Serve as a first responder to maintenance-related ANDON calls and provide secondary support for operational issues.
- Conduct process confirmations to verify work is being performed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards.
- Support and facilitate continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and coach problem-solving efforts to the lowest appropriate level within the organization.
- Develop and strengthen team member and team leader capabilities through coaching, training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Drive accountability for adherence to maintenance processes, work standards, and operational expectations.
- Support achievement of key performance metrics, including First Time Through (FTT), inventory, downtime, cost, scrap, tooling, and maintenance expense targets.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement, and employee development.
- Assign and coordinate work activities for hourly maintenance personnel while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and production requirements.
- Maintain required administrative records, reports, and documentation related to maintenance operations and personnel activities.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and other support functions to resolve equipment and process-related issues.
- Utilize data and maintenance performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and changing business demands.
- Support flexible scheduling requirements, including shift rotation, off-shift support, weekends, and overtime as needed.
You'll have...
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or related environment.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance leadership, supervision, management, or progressive maintenance roles with increasing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance processes.
- Experience leading teams, coordinating work activities, and driving accountability for safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work any shift, including rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
- Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering background.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Process Coach, or similar maintenance leadership role.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Experience with safety systems, quality systems, root cause analysis, and constraint management.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop maintenance employees while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors with strong interpersonal, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.
