Human Resources Project Specialist

We're looking for a Human Resources Project Specialist to join our Human Resources Portfolio and Project Management team as a strategic and agile contributor who helps turn priorities into action. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, adaptable, and curious professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
This role is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarters (in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week)
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you'll lead smaller scale HR projects from concept through execution, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and provide the project management expertise needed to move critical initiatives forward. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions while helping deliver projects that support both business objectives and employee success.
Responsibilities include:
Lead HR projects with cross functional teams from planning through implementation and closure
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, communication plans, stakeholder maps, and RAID logs
Monitor project progress and proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies
Provide clear status updates and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership
Ensure project objectives, deliverables, and success measures are achieved
Serve as a flexible resource on projects and HR initiatives across HR function to provide support during periods of increased demand
Support and consistent use of project management tools, methodologies, and processes
Contribute to project management resources, templates, and educational materials

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3–5 years of professional experience including project coordination/management, preferably within Human Resources
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively across teams
Comfort navigating ambiguity and changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Human Resources
Project management experience
Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
Familiarity with project management tools, dashboards, and reporting practices
$70,800-$106,200. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
