ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Leverages knowledge of CPU Architecture to develop and/or optimize Software for high performance and low power.Run benchmarks for applications and performs critical pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure performance and power goals are met.Develops new benchmarks for upcoming areas and workloads across product segmentsUnderstands software workloads at next level (libraries, compiler, assembly, runtime, algorithms) and evaluates optimization opportunitiesCollaborates with internal (CPU, Compiler, Kernel) and external (benchmark vendors, open source community) teams to implement solutions that meet CPU performance requirements.As a leading technology innovator, Qualcomm pushes the boundaries of what's possible to enable next-generation experiences and drives digital transformation to help create a smarter, connected future for all.As a Qualcomm CPU Software Architect you will develop and optimize Software that pushes the envelope on performance, energy efficiency, and scalability across the product segments and business units. Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
