As a Group Sales Manager, you’re not just generating and managing group business—you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by building strong client relationships and creating exceptional experiences for groups and events. Through strategic sales efforts, personalized service, and seamless collaboration with hotel operations, you’ll help deliver memorable stays that exceed expectations and drive business success.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

Generate and convert new group business: Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, networking, account development, and market research to drive group room nights and achieve revenue goals.

Build and maintain client relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and market segments, strengthening existing relationships while developing new partnerships that contribute to long-term revenue growth and customer loyalty.

Develop and execute sales strategies: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and hotel performance to create strategic sales plans that maximize group business opportunities and achieve established sales objectives.

Lead the complete sales cycle: Prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and close business while ensuring solutions align with client needs and hotel revenue strategies.

Manage group bookings and event requirements: Coordinate guest room blocks, meeting space, food and beverage requirements, and other event details while ensuring all information is accurately maintained within the hotel’s sales management systems.

Lead, coach, and inspire others: Support team development through guidance, performance feedback, and collaboration, fostering a positive, results-driven culture focused on delivering exceptional service and achieving business goals.
