Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Kotlin, Java, and the Spring Framework.
- Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs to support system integrations and digital solutions.
- Build scalable and reliable services following software engineering best practices.
- Participate in the design and architecture of microservices and distributed systems.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and continuous improvement practices.
- Deploy and maintain services using cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Integrate systems using messaging and communication technologies, including Apache Kafka and gRPC.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues proactively and collaboratively.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions with development teams.
- Work collaboratively in agile environments, promoting effective communication, adaptability, and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Proven experience in backend development using Kotlin, Java, and the Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with microservices architecture, SOA concepts, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with messaging tools such as Apache Kafka.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams.
- Proactive mindset, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Technology certifications, participation in technical events, or conferences are considered a plus.
