The selected individual will play an instrumental role in developing, evolving, and leading RF payloads and technologies for the space sector.Northrop Grumman Fellows provide technical, intellectual, and business leadership contributing to the advancement of critical program execution and capture goals. The selected candidate will drive strategy for a broad set of technical initiatives and be empowered to make decisions that significantly impact annual operating plans (AOP), long-range strategic plan (LRSP) outcomes, and our technology roadmap. The selected candidate will possess the skills, drive, and judgment to successfully engage with senior leaders and technologists across the company and customer community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Serve as the enterprise authority and go-to expert RF products and technologies including phased arrays, antenna products, RF systems-on-chip, RF switch units, low noise front end packaging, and high sensitivity RF conditioning electronicsAttract new business and open new market opportunities through development of best-value architectures and solutions that blend technical superiority, speed of execution, and affordabilityDevelop product and technology roadmaps to provide discriminating capabilities and close capability gapsDrive sector-wide strategy for advanced packaging, technology investments, and manufacturing paradigm shifts for RF payloadsConduct complex technical analyses and trades for RF devices, units, subsystems, and payloads that synthesize many factors, balance conflicting constraints, and drive high-stakes outcomesDevelops or creatively applies new engineering/scientific concepts, often resulting in patents or innovative practicesEnhance performance and customer satisfaction on currently executing programs through resolution of critical issues, cross-domain problem-solving, and impactful technical contributionsProvide decisive technical leadership during proposals, non-advocate reviews, independent review teams, and root cause investigationsExercise independent technical judgment on technical rigor versus practicality, determine acceptable risk posture on technology decisions, and drive mitigation strategies early in the product or technology lifecycleDevelop strategic external-facing relationships with customers, academia, research institutions, suppliers, and industry partners to promote technical excellence and shape solutions that address mission needsConstruct a foundation of knowledge through leadership, team building, mentorship, and knowledge transferBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science,...
